It’s sitting in my show room and I want to drive it now. It’s also slow as fuck today, all my appointments are tomorrow

Vape pen, monster hat, and stickers not included

Is that a dealer-installed package I can get?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:13 |

I’ll buy all of it for you if you buy the STI

a stage 2 STI that doesn't already have stickers going down the year window at a slight angle? Sounds like a rare model we have here.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:15 |

do you have anything under 7k in your showroom? what about under 10k?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:15 |

No stickers at all, not even a built in Monster logo anywhere
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:15 |

Yes and yes. Lots of Mini’s at that price
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:16 |

What’s the policy on taking one for a spin at your spot? When I traded the E90 I was talking to one of the Audi techs. He said that he was excited to take my trade for a spin later. The sales guy mentioned that the car was already sold (to another dealer) so he could not drive it. Otherwise it seemed like no big deal.

slow here today too, I spotted a couple cars yesterday, but today the damn phone isn’t even ringing, so I’m emailing my lease maturities...

![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:19 |

Need a copy of your license first and for record, how you plan to purchase the car.

Its a GT Delixe Convertible

No I mean employees. If something cool comes in are you allowed to take it for a spin? I was surprised to see that it was cool at a big dealer.

How much power is this thing making? Also, are you at liberty to disclose the name of this establishment? I want to see more of this thing...

what’s your favorite car in the showroom?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:23 |

There are 6 in the showroom, so it’d have to be the STI. In the back area we have about 40 more cars.

Northeast Motor Cars in Paterson, NJ.
I do not have a dyno chart, youd have to go off the Cobb sites to get those numbers

Oh, yeah i cant take them for joy rides.
We have a warehouse 10 blocks down the street so we do occasionally swap cars. I’ll get behind the STI the day a guy comes to buy it from me

what’s your favorite car in the back?

Use to be the CL65 AMG we had. Now it’s either the CLS 63 AMG S or the S550 Edition One. I am also fond of our 640i GC and the G wagons

Do you have an internet sales department? If so, how’s the coordination between internet sales, the website, and what’s actually on the lot? Do the internet guys have to hand off the contact to a floor guy when they convince the internet sale to come in for a test drive? does everyone work off the same price sheet? If someone contacting you via e-mail sets an appointment time, do you make sure the vehicle is ready for a test drive when the person arrives?
I ask all this because in my experience:
There is poor coordination between the inventory sheets, what’s on the website, and what’s on the lot. Many of my initial attempts were thwarted when the vehicle I was inquiring about wasn’t on the lot.
Almost every dealer I’ve contacted uses a computer jockey to answer questions via e-mail but hands off the sale to some random salesman when you show up at the lot.
When contacted in person, nearly every sales guy quotes a price that is different (higher) than the internet sale price. It seems like the sales guys and the internet guys are working off different price sheets.
Only one sales guy had the car ready and waiting when I set up an appointment. One. Just one. This burns me, especially when I drove over an hour to get there. If i drove an hour to see you, you better have the car ready and not make me wait around for another half-hour while someone fetches and “preps” the car.

It’s chaos but I get to hang around nice cars everyday. Pay isn’t bad either

I’m at a smaller dealership, we have 5 salesman and a sales mananger (we got a new guy yesterday). Our BDC department is a total size of 2.
One of out BDC sales gets a lead, transfers the call to us, the salesman bring them in. If its an internet lead, it gets assigned to us and we need to get them in.
If we get a commitment to get you into the door, I have to either have the inventory guys get the car or I have to get the car ready. Sometimes/most of the time the car is in our warehouse which is 10 blocks down the street. This part usually generates total chaos

Do you accept pubes?

When a subaru STI is in the area, do the trees get closer to the road, or further away?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:35 |

Well..in that case, the stock clutch is probably good for 3-4 redline clutch drops...

Are they gold?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:37 |

I’ll be sure to mention that to the guy who is coming to buy it

Gib! How much for gib?!
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:40 |
|
$31,900
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:42 |
|
Definitely not a buyer - but how clean is stock# F00787 (02 325xi wagon?)
I haven’t seen one with so few miles in a long time. My wife wants a euro-lux-wagon when we get a second car.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:42 |
|
Hmmm, that is a lot for gib. Maybe do not gib...yet....
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:44 |

The way these things hold their value is insane. I’d gladly pay another $5k to get a new one.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:44 |

I can’t get the exact numbers, but it looks to be a significant improvement over stock. The car you guys have is super nice. The STi interior makes the standard WRX interior look terrible.
Also, might be because I viewed in on mobile, but your site appears to list the cars trans as an auto.

The headliner is tearing but she drives smoothly, also the hood has scratches.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:45 |
|
I agree, but does a new one come with go fast bits?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:46 |
|
Yeah someone fucked up the listing and the guy who handles the website is out today.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:47 |
|
Well...you have about a week or less than that. A guy is coming friday to possibly by and if he doesnt, I have a guy who wants to buy it the 23rd
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:49 |
|
I must pass. I have been told I can get an STi when the chilluns are in forward facing car seats, otherwise I can not drive it with said chilluns. I so wish, though...
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:50 |
|
Sad for no gib
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:52 |

I’d honestly prefer one without. Go-fast bits generally inspire hooning, prefer my performance car non-hooned, unless I have direct knowledge/experience with the previous owner and how they treat their cars.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:53 |
|
I can agree with that. I assume every mile this car has seen has been hard...
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:55 |
|
How much are the G wagons?
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:56 |
|
LOL - same. Because I know that’s pretty much how I’d drive it!
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:56 |

I was literally an hour from signing the papers, and we tried the car seats. Saddest event of my year.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:56 |

Either our 09 is gone or the website is fucked, but the 2010 is $65,900
![]() 09/13/2016 at 14:57 |

:( *cries*
![]() 09/13/2016 at 23:00 |

How long do you think the rod bearings will last? :)
I tease, but seriously. Rebuilding an ‘07 STi now.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 23:01 |

Well it’s 1 year old and has 40k miles...which I assume were hard miles. I give it 20 feet
